Media files uploaded to Kaltura (My Media) in Canvas and Mediaspace are subject to the following policy: Media files that have no plays registered for a period of 2 years or longer will be deactived. These files can be reactivated by DLT upon request. -Media files that have no plays registered for a period of 7 years or longer will be automatically deleted from the system. Deleted files cannot be restored. -Owners of media files that have been identified for deactivation or deletion will be sent a notification 14 days in advance. This will be sent to the users' university email.
